lethain.comThe agentic passive voice. At some point, you will have learned about the passive voice, where the actor in a sentence is unclear. For example, my software didn’t compile. That’s a good example of the passive voice. However, you might not know the full set of rules, because here are some sentences in the passive voice that you might not recognize: Claude made an error in my writeup. ChatGPT messed up the commitment. Gemini didn’t write tests. You might think those are active sentences, but those are in fact examples of the agentic passive voice. The rule here is: whenever the actor in a sentence is a model, then it’s a passive sentence. I’m sorry if your grammar instructor never taught you this rule, but this is just the way it works now.April 10, 2026 -

lethain.com"Good engineering management" is a fadAs I get older, I increasingly think about whether I’m spending my time the right way to advance my career and my life. This is also a question that your company asks about you every performance cycle: is this engineering manager spending their time effectively to advance the company or their organization? Confusingly, in my experience, answering these nominally similar questions has surprisingly little in common. This piece spends some time exploring both questions in the particularly odd moment we live in today, where managers are being told they’ve spent the last decade doing the wrong things, and need to engage with a new model of engineering management in order to be valued by the latest iteration of the industry.December 5, 2025 -

LinkedIn#thanks | Evyatar Bluzer | 11 commentsI was tired of consulting with multiple LLMs. So I vibe-coded this side project - a tool to automatically compare answers from multiple AI models for questions I really care about (think: health, finance, kids' education). Started it as something just for myself, then I wrapped it as a web app so others could try it too. Under the hood, it uses some principles from research on improving AI reliability (details in first comment👇). Would love for you all to check it out and let me know what you think, or how you’d use it! https://trustedchat.chat #thanks Ilan Voronel for the support and expert advise! | 11 comments on LinkedInNovember 24, 2025

Her sigter Novo Nordisk højere. | 61 comments on LinkedInNovember 11, 2025
